This is me, signing away! The launch was fantastic, sold lots of books and felt the love all around. This is my first book 'COMING HOME' you can buy from my website ($39.95). It's filled with old fashioned food treats, easy to make, delicious and warming. It's food that gives you a big hug!

When glancing at the view on our draining board the sight of unmatched crockery is eye poppingly refreshing. Who wants everything to match? There is a story to each piece and most lived long in other houses before ours. And of course the collection grows with no thought of what's coming next, just so long as it's pretty it'll fit in. Everything but the kitchen sink.

Look what I found! $25 at a close out sale, it looks like Masons, who make some of my favourite plates. The mix of pinks with chocolate accented with gold details give it a slightly exotic Eastern feel. I'm going to use it to inspire a coffee flavoured dessert and I will post the results.

The man up the street has a sea of hydrangeas as his front fence, in summer his home hides behind a buoyant tangle of powder blue bouquets. I couldn't imagine anything nicer. And now as the weather cools, the blue is burnished into mottled lilacs, burgandy and faded tones of everything these colours could be. A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
